Chilly the snowman

This is for the sketch for Totally Gorjuss 96 (a £10 voucher to spend in Joanna Sheen's online shop will be given to the randomly drawn winner):
Background paper is from My Mind's Eye Christmas glitter book - just right for Christmas inspirations 32: Christmas card with glitter, decorated strips across the bottom are from my Christmas offcuts box. The snowman is a Stampotique stamp by Jo Capper-Sandon called 'chilly', coloured with copics.

The sentiment says: To you and your family.

Photo isn't good because it's a flash one (will try and replace with a daylight one if weather permits tomorrow).

This is also for Samuel Taylors September challenge: Christmas card using any rubber stamp - there is a fab prize of 4 Prima paper pads for one lucky winner.

The colours are for Crafty catz 98: monochromatic.

Handbag card

I was looking through a box of card blanks and came across a couple of handbag cards that I've had for longer than I can remember, so I decided to make something with one of them.

The challenge for this week's Going grey with Scrap-Creations is to 'decorate the inside of your card. I thought I would make the card so that it can be turned either way, so it's just one card, but can be used a couple of different ways.

Cards und more 35 is looking for cards that are not square, so I'm linking for that, also for Mami doodles 32: shaped card, and 365 cards day 185: so unusual.

I used loads of sparkly gems on both sides of the card, so this is for Oldie but a goodie 26 - the old stamp is the Basic Grey journaling one that I thought would be a good place to write in. I coloured this with copic sugared almond pink for Copic creations 57: pretty in pink - and for iCopic 46: glitter (bling).

The spotty paper is English Paper Company Ladies of leisure, but all the other papers are Basic Grey - wisteria and sultry and, of course, the stamp is BG too - this is suitable for a celebration birthday, so I'm linking for Basic Grey 52.

This is the same card, just folded different ways:

Celebrating 60 years

Regular visitors to my blog might remember that about ten days ago I made a commissioned Diamond Wedding Anniversary card. The card I've done today is from us for the same couple.

I've used similar paper to the commissioned card (which you can see here), once more using the top left hand corner of a 12 x 12 paper - PM orante snowflake metallic (didn't realise when I chose it that it was snowflake - hope it doesn't look too Christmassy!).

The flower is Craftime and the various hearts are from stash. All the foiled elements are silver (not black as they look here). The embossed sentiment says Happy Anniversary, of course, only just visible here.

Colours are for A gem of a challenge 29 photo inspiration:
