The stamp is one of my favourites: Penny Black sparklers.

Annabelle's birthday celebrations

Annabelle stamps are celebrating their 2nd birthday with some special challenges. The first one is to use a new stamp, die cuts and bling. Andrea kindly provided a lovely free digital image to celebrate, which I've used here, printing on to an Elizabethan stackle die cut, coloured with copics and decorated with lots of red flat back pearls. You can read more about the challenge on Sue's blog and on Kylie's.

I've also used the colours - kraft, red and brown - for Annabelle's 'say it in ...' challenge this week.

This is also for:

Stamp something: September digi day
Little red wagon 97: use a die cut
Daisy doodles 41: anything goes

White glitter Christmas

This card was prompted by Crafty Ann 48: it's be all white on the night (hope it's OK that there is also some silver).

This is also for Margaret's challenge for the Christmas card gang: All white with a touch of glitter - if you want to know more about the gang, please get in touch with one of us on my list in the sidebar.

Having looked in a big box of crinkly, handmade papers that I've had for years, when I made a card the other day, I remembered that I had some white with glittery snowflakes - unfortunately, it wasn't wide enough for my card, so I used the strip of wide silver ribbon so that I could cut and use the glittered paper either side of it (no one would know that the paper didn't go all the way across).

I also found a square of textured white paper - I had no idea whether I could successfully stamp on this, but had a go with an Anna Griffin stamp inked with versamark and heat embossed with detail silver - looks much better irl.
