Penny's challenge 338

This is my design card for Penny's challenge 338, where the theme is anything goes. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in with your entries.

I used the lovely Bugaboo Stamps image 'tulip jar' - Bugaboo are sponsoring the challenge. I coloured the image with spectrum noir pens and cut with one of the todo cross hatch dies, inking the embossed edge. The image die was then raised up with foam pads and ribbon and gems added.

This is also for:

The Bugaboo crafty challenge 7: anything goes with a Bugaboo image
As you like it: do you prefer pearls or gems and why - I love using either - perhaps gems just have the edge for me, so versatile

Sport upcycled tag

This is a commissioned card made for a friend's grandson, who loves rugby. Background is lovely foiled Kanban card. The rugby topper is an Anita one from The Works, sentiments from stash and the sport circle tag was upcycled - it was on a bag that I bought.

This is for:

WOYWW 424

Here are my pictures for WOYWW 424. If you don't know what this is all about, please click on the link and have a look and join in the fun by showing what's on your workdesk and then having a look at the links to see everyone else's.

Last week I said that I'm hoping very soon to be able to show the rest of my craft room with everything sorted and labelled. Oh dear .... that's a bit of a joke because I haven't got much further with it. I have done some more sorting, but there's not really much to show for it. It was Wimbledon in the UK for the last two weeks and the finals particularly took up my time

To the left of where I sit are the normal essentials ... a USB lamp (really good for evening cardmaking when colours can look different without enough light), the fan, kitchen roll etc. And then there are some cards made with a magazine freebie - still quite a lot of the kit left, as you can see. Not real crafting, but the opportunity to make a few very quick cards that might bring in some money for charity.

On the right are some bits and pieces bought yesterday at The Works and a few other bits, including the Christmas card made for my challenges for last Saturday and not put away yet.

As I still haven't finished organising and labelling, I thought I'd show you my pens:

I hope to return again next week and show some more of my craft room - in fact, I'd like to think that the sorting and labelling will be finished ... but I keep hoping that - lol!. Now I'm off to link this for WOYWW 424 and then have a look at what others have been up to - although I haven't got much time now as we have visitors coming, but I'll be back this evening.
